just played this today wow, i loved the menu implementation here and the “turn based” simplified combat! what can i say that hasn’t been already said in the other comments? i sometimes like to imagine that since whales evolved from ungulates, maybe narwhals evolved from unicorns? it’s probably not true but interesting to think about right?!
I enjoyed this! The mounting difficulty was a bit of a mixed bag for me because I had already pretty heavily optimized things on my first run and was largely just going through the motions after that, *but* that's also obviously part of the theming. Anyway, I liked how this plays out structurally. Good work!
Wow, this was absolutely fantastic! Possibly my favorite game of the whole jam. I loved it. I'd love to play more games with this kind of system, so I guess I should check out Deep Rune huh?

I was so surprised by this game. Not just the custom battle system but the overall structure. At first, I felt like it was a straightforward but fun puzzle with a few mysteries, but it became more complicated, and I was delighted by how it unfolds.
